The Katsina State Government has confirmed that 32 worshippers were killed in the recent bandit attack on a mosque in Malumfashi Local Government Area.
A government delegation led by Secretary to the State Government, Abdullahi Faskari, visited Unguwar Mantau community to condole with families of the victims. The number of those kidnapped remains uncertain as an airstrike by the Nigerian Air Force disrupted the attackers while they moved with captives.
The state government assured that immediate support had been provided to victims’ families and pledged continued efforts to strengthen security in the state.
