President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his administration’s commitment to defeating banditry and terrorism across Nigeria.
The President gave the assurance on Monday in Yola while commissioning projects executed by the Adamawa State Government under Governor Umaru Fintiri.
Commending the efforts of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, Tinubu pledged continued support for security personnel in the discharge of their duties.
“We are grateful to the Nigerian armed forces for their commitment to liberating Nigeria from banditry and insurgency. Together, we will win,” the President said.
He also urged state governors and citizens to work together in promoting development and security across the country.
“We will continue to encourage our governors and call on citizens to give them maximum cooperation. Nigeria is ours to develop,” he added.
Tinubu further praised Governor Fintiri for the projects implemented by his administration, describing them as evidence of people-centred governance.
The President reaffirmed his resolve to remain committed to national service and to strengthening security and development efforts nationwide.
