Dr. Adewumi Bakare is a Nigerian-American physician and entrepreneur. This young and dynamic doctor who has his roots in Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State has a career spanning medical practice, digital health and real estate investment in Nigeria and the United States. With decades of clinical experience in America and more than 45 state medical professional licences, he has built a diverse portfolio of ventures while maintaining a strong commitment to improving healthcare delivery in his home country.

As Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CrownBak Health Medical Clinic and Laboratory in Lekki, Lagos, Dr. Bakare oversees a healthcare facility focused on providing affordable medical consultations and comprehensive laboratory services. The clinic also organises free community health screenings, promoting preventive care and helping residents access essential medical services.

His entrepreneurial interests extend to digital healthcare through FastDocNow, a telemedicine company established to broaden access to medical consultations, and MedBak Properties, which holds real estate investments in Nigeria and the United States. These ventures reflect his interest in combining professional expertise with business innovation across sectors.

After decades of practising medicine in the United States, Dr. Bakare made the decision to return to Nigeria and contribute directly to the development of its healthcare sector. Beyond establishing and managing healthcare services, he has invested financial resources and personal time in initiatives aimed at improving access to care and supporting community wellbeing.
