Dr. Chioma Eugenia Iwuagwu is an experienced professional, entrepreneur and business leader with a career spanning banking, digital services, financial technology and cybersecurity.

She has more than fourteen years of experience in the banking industry, with exposure to banking operations, customer service, retail banking, commercial banking, investment banking, and public-sector banking. During her banking career, she held leadership responsibilities, including the role of Head, Non-Core Public Sector, FCT & North. In that capacity, she contributed to business growth through client acquisition, relationship management, the development and structuring of financing transactions, and the strengthening of institutional partnerships. Her responsibilities included providing strategic direction for expanding and deepening relationships with public-sector and institutional clients.

As an entrepreneur, she founded FUCIL Datatech Limited, a Nigerian digital distribution and online utility-payment company providing technology-enabled services to customers and businesses.

She has also served as Chief Executive of CyberDome Nigeria Limited, a Managed Security Service Provider, where her work has included promoting cybersecurity awareness and supporting the adoption of cybersecurity solutions by government institutions, corporate organizations, and individuals.

Dr. Iwuagwu holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Benin. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree, with Second Class Honours (Upper Division), in Forestry and Environmental Science from the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi.

She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Finance and Control of Nigeria and a member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria. She has also served on the boards of several organizations.

In 2022, Dr. Chioma Eugenia Iwuagwu received an Honorary Doctorate in Leadership and Strategic Management in recognition of her professional and leadership achievements.

With experience spanning banking, entrepreneurship, technology and cybersecurity, Dr. Iwuagwu has built a career defined by leadership, innovation, strategic growth, and service. She continues to contribute her expertise to the advancement of businesses, institutions, and the wider technology ecosystem, while supporting conversations and initiatives focused on digital transformation, enterprise development, cybersecurity and sustainable organizational growth.
