A combined team of operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigeria Police have barricaded the Apo Residence of the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.
If Ekweremadu is eventually arrested and detained, the Senate will not hold its Tuesday’s plenary in the absence of its two presiding officers as Senate President Bukola Saraki has reportedly gone to honour the invitation of the police over the Offa bank robbery attack.
