The Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar today met with his former principal, Olusegun Obasanjo, Also at the meeting was the Founder of The Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, prominent Islamic preacher,Sheikh Ahmed Gumi, Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Sokoto , Hassan Kukah, Afenifere leader, Chief Ayo Adebanjo ,PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus ,Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, Director- General of Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation and former Governor Of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and other prominent PDP chieftains.
Details of the meeting have not been made public but there are speculations that the meeting’s main objective was reconciling Obasanjo and Atiku ahead of the 2019 presidential election.
The meeting was held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta.
