US President Donald Trump cast his ballot in Florida on Saturday morning before travelling to headline three rallies in North Carolina, Ohio and Wisconsin. With only 10 days left before the election, Trump is turning his focus to rallying supporters in critical swing states.
Mr. Trump told reporters after casting his ballot that he “voted for a guy named Trump.”
Although he won Florida in 2016, polling shows he and former Vice President Joe Biden are neck-and-neck in 2020. Both Biden and Trump are pursuing two critical demographics in the state, seniors and Latinos.
More than 54 million Americans have already voted in the 2020 election, reflecting an extraordinary level of participation and interest despite unprecedented barriers brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
Polls indicate a huge pre-Election-Day edge for Biden and a sizeable Trump advantage among those who plan to vote on Nov. 3.
