In a decisive move to strengthen the Nigeria Customs Service, President Bola Tinubu has officially approved the appointment of a new management team. This development comes just weeks after the President appointed Adewale Adeniyi as the acting Comptroller General of Customs, leading to the retirement of some of the former management members.
The announcement of the new management team was made in a statement on Friday, which was signed by Abdullahi Maiwada, the National Public Relations Officer of the service. The appointees comprise three highly capable deputy comptroller generals and three assistant comptroller generals.
