President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Wednesday, August 14, for a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, in response to an invitation extended by President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, released a statement that confirmed the trip. Upon arrival, President Tinubu will meet with President Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa in Malabo. The visit will feature high-level meetings between the two leaders, focusing on key areas such as oil and gas and security. Agreements in these sectors are anticipated to be signed during the visit.

President Tinubu will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other cabinet members.
