Dr. Oduniyi Muftau Anwoju’s profile in medical practice is on the rise. As Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bluelime Hospital which is located in Lagos, he has endeared himself to many through acts of charity.

Oduniyi Muftau Anwoju was born on March 17, 1974, in Lagos State, Nigeria. He received his primary and secondary education at Mayflower School, Ikenne Remo, Ogun State, under the guidance of the legendary educationist, Dr. Tai Solarin. Subsequently, he earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Ilorin’s Faculty of Health Sciences.

A renowned surgeon with exceptional skills, Dr. Anwoju has garnered the nickname “bikini doctor” from a colleague in Saudi Arabia due to his meticulous surgical techniques.

Apart from his role as the Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bluelime Hospitals, he is also the Director of Dendanieec Multiconcepts and Pure Express Courier Services. Beyond all these, Dr. Anwoju is a passionate farmer who is contributing to Nigeria’s food security.

Driven to give back to his community, Dr. Anwoju founded the Alleyway Foundation, a non-government organization that provides free surgeries and medical laboratory services to vulnerable individuals. This philanthropic work has been a cornerstone of his career for the past five years.

Recognized for his humanitarian efforts, Dr. Anwoju was first noticed in 2018 by a Catholic church in his community. His hospital’s unique approach, which includes never requiring upfront payments for emergency surgeries, has earned him numerous awards, including a humanitarian award from the Catholic church.

Dr. Anwoju is happily married and has two children.

It was in recognition of his contribution to national development in the area of Human Medicine and Health Facility Management that Dr. Oduniyi Muftau Anwoju was deemed worthy to be conferred with the Nigerian Achievement Award.
