Dr. Adebola Obe is the highly cerebral Director of Platform Schools, Lagos. He is a seasoned education administrator with a background of over 20 years of experience in the financial sector. His transition from banking to education has enabled him to bring strong corporate governance, financial discipline and administrative expertise to school management.

Obe holds higher degrees in Finance and Education Management and Leadership, qualifications that have shaped his vision of integrating the British and Nigerian curricula to meet international standards. Under his leadership, Platform Schools has strengthened its reputation for academic excellence, particularly in science and mathematics. The school won the 2022 Lagos Science Olympic Competition in the Junior Secondary category and has represented Nigeria at international competitions in Dubai and Kazakhstan.

Dr. Obe attributes these achievements largely to continuous teacher development, with the school organising termly training programmes facilitated by external consultants and promoting a vibrant club system that includes Science, Literary, Music and JET clubs.

Beyond administration,  Obe is an advocate for educational reform. He has publicly called on the Lagos State Government to make Creative Writing and Emotional Intelligence compulsory from primary to tertiary level, citing the need to restore strong writing culture among young people.
