Dr. Chinenye Joy Mgbeokwere is a distinguished legal practitioner, academic, social commentator and human rights advocate. She is a highly resourceful lawyer who has put in over twenty years of unblemished service spanning such areas as digital jurisprudence, gender rights and policy development. She is the founder of a thriving law firm callad Exceptional Attorney and Partners which is based in Abuja. She also serves as  Senior Lecturer and Deputy Postgraduate Coordinator for the Faculty of Law at Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja.

A fiercely independent intellectual and institutional leader, she is also the Chairperson of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Nigeria, Gwagwalada Branch, Abuja. In that role, she stands as a towering pillar of social justice and nation-building.
