
The whereabouts of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu and his parents are still unknown after troops of the operation Python Dance II allegedly invaded his family home at Afaraukwu in Abia state.
According to a younger brother to Kanu who is popularly called Fine Boy, the palace of Kanu’s father, Eze Israel Kanu who is also the traditional ruler of the community was reportedly ransacked and desecrated in the military action.
Reports say the soldiers, on arrival at the community shot sporadically into the air for over 30 minutes, prompting residents of the area to flee their homes for fears of being hit by stray bullets and fear of subsequent invasions.
