Mr. Peter Ineh is an important name in the world of Information and Communication Technology. He is highly versed in the areas of IT Security, Audit, Control and Risk Management. He is the current President of the Lagos Chapter of ISACA.
A technocrat with over 23 years professional experience, Ineh is also a chartered accountant and a certified information system auditor. He is currently Director (Finance & Strategy) at Icegate Limited which is a firm involved in information and communication technology training as well as ICT security development and control.
Before he made forays into the field of ICT, he had posted sterling work records in banking, consulting and the aviation sector. He had been on the staff of several blue chip organisations including Savannah Securities Limited, MBC International Bank, Oceanic Bank Plc and the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc.
Peter Ineh holds an MBA in Management Information Systems as well as an M.Sc in Corporate Governance from Leeds Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Professional Risk Managers International Association (PRMIA).A worthy member of the Rotary International Club, he is happily married with children.
It was in recognition of his contribution to national development in the area of Training & Development in IT Security & Control that he was honoured with the Development in Nigeria Merit Award by PSR Magazine in the year 2014.
