
A new commissioner has been appointed to oversee the affairs of the Lagos State Police Command. He is Mr. Edgar Imohimi who was until now the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations in the state.
Imohimi takes over from Commissioner of Police Fatai Owoseni who is seen by many Lagosians to be a highly effective police chief.
The Nigeria Police Headquarters has redeployed Owoseni to the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (FCIID) in Abuja.
