The Red Card Movement, a group promoted by a former Minister of Education, Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili on Thursday stormed Jos, the Plateau State capital to denounce the change government of President Muhammadu Buhari for failing to deliver its promises to Nigerians.
Ezekwesili, who stormed the Tin City with several other pro-democracy activists from Abuja, urged Nigerians to get their Permanent Voter Cards and give red card to the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration of President Buhari in the 2019 general elections.
She said Nigerians were getting tired of failed promises from the government that came to power under the guise of coming to effect change in the governance of Nigeria, stressing that only credible persons should be voted into power at both the state and national levels.
While wondering why the incessant incidents of killings and attacks on Nigerians have remained unabated, Ezekwesili called on the Plateau people and other Nigerians living on the Plateau to join the revolution to rescue Nigeria from the grip of those whom she said were hell bent on plundering the commonwealth of Nigerians.
