In the latest shooting to rock the United States of America still shaken by the massacre at a Florida high school in February, a gun-wielding assailant on Friday afternoon left behind multiple casualties after he attacked a high school in Santa Fe, Texas.

Cris Richardson, Assistant Principal of Santa Fe High School says the suspect in Friday’s shooting at the institution whose identity has not been disclosed, has been arrested and secured, adding that the school has been placed on lock down.

Officials of the school disclosed that law enforcement agents were also working to secure the building and initiate all emergency management protocols to release and safely move students to another location.

Aerial video outside the school showed policemen escorting lines of students out of the building and then searching them for weapons as police cars and at least two ambulances were on standby
