Senate President.  Bukola Saraki has paid a visit to the Social Democratic Party governorship candidate in Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, to beg for his support for the PDP ahead of the re-run election scheduled for Thursday,  September 24.

Speaking with journalists after the visit, Saraki said he was confident that Senator Ademola Adeleke would win the re-run poll.

Meanwhile, Senator Omisore has given his conditions for supporingt any of the parties. He said:

 “I have given my programme to both APC and PDP. My programme is like this: payment of salaries and pensions. Good governance is what is important to me.

“Anyone between the two that will do that will get my support. I am passionate about Osun and my interest is the welfare of the people of this state. I have told those sent to me. At the appropriate time, we will tell you where we are going.”
