
No fewer than 13 Berom indigenes have been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen in a fresh attack on Jol village located in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Confirming the attacks on Wednesday , the council’s Management Committee Chairman, Emmanuel Danboyi Jugu said the attacks were carried out on Tuesday night, adding that the victims had already been buried.
“Ten persons, including women and children, have been given mass burial. Three other bodies have just been discovered,” Jugu said.
However, when contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the state command, DSP Mathias Terna Tyopev said he was yet to get details from the Divisional Police Officer (DPO).
