At least six persons, including an elderly woman were killed in a fresh attack by suspected militia at Tsondi in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State on Friday night.

Reports say that the attackers invaded Tsondi from a neighbouring Benue village at dawn and shot several people, killing six persons and leaving several others with bullet wounds.

Many households in the community were also set ablaze after residents fled to Wukari town and other nearby villages for safety.
