Dr Funmi Abraham-Bamigboje is a woman of class. She is one of the outstanding Nigerian women who are extending and enriching the frontiers of education through innovation.She is the Founder and Director of Waterpark Schools which is located at Agungi in the Lekki area of Lagos.

Mrs Abraham-Bamigboje comes across as a natural lover of education. She earned a B.Sc in Geography from the University of Ilorin in 1992,a Master’s in Environmental Studies from York University, Toronto, Canada in 2004, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Lagos in 2007 and a Ph.D Geography (Rural Development) from the University of Uyo in 2017.

She had a stint in classroom teaching as a senior class teacher at Government Secondary School Garki, Abuja. She also taught briefly at Lagos State Model College, Badore, Lagos.

On the administrative side, her experience began as a Graduate Assistant at York University,Toronto, Canada. She also served briefly as Administrator at Lekki City International College, Lekki, Lagos. One must add that she also worked as a civil servant at Water Resources, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

In founding Waterpark Schools, she obviously brought along her vast experience and exposure to bear. The schools are grooming children in a world class environment that supports the child’s learning process and creativity. The schools are equipped with ultra-modern facilities.

.It is in recognition of her contribution to national development in the area of Management, Development and Delivery of Quality Education that Dr (Mrs) Funmi Abraham-Bamigboje is deemed worthy to be conferred with the Woman of  Merit Gold Award.
