A policeman and a commercial motorcyclist have been confirmed dead after angry youths burnt down Sotitobire Miracle Church in Akure, Ondo State today.

The irate youths went on rampage after rumours circulated that a missing one-year-old boy’s body was exhumed from the church’s altar.

The Ondo State Police Command has however declared the circulating story to be mere rumour.

The policeman was killed by a mob at the scene of the incident while the motorcyclist was allegedly killed by a stray bullet.
