Aviation authorities have now confirmed that Kobe Bryant’s 13-year old daughter, Gianna died along with him and three yet to be identified other persons in the fatal helicopter crash.

Gianna was known to have a deep interest in basketball just like the father. She was an active basketball player who was on her way to being a professional. Indeed Gianna, acccording to reports, was travelling with her father to where she was scheduled to play a match with her team at the Mamba’s Sport Academy.

As at the time of filing this report, the identities of the other travellers in the helicopter were yet to be ascertained. Bryant is survived by his parents, his wife, Vanessa and three daughters.
