The Nigerian Airforce on Thursday inducted three attack helicopters – two Agusta 109P and an Mi-171E to aid its current security engagements within the country.
President Muhammadu Buhari personally attended the ceremony which held at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
The President said in his address that the government would not disappoint Nigerians with the trust they have vested in him.
“About a year ago, I also inducted two Agusta helicopters into the Air Force. These aircraft will assist the Air Force in tackling the contemporary security challenges facing our country,” the President said.
Under the Buhari administration, NAF has procured and inducted several fighter aircraft and helicopter gunships.
