I Have Not Been Cleared As Covid-19 Negative, So ‘Am Still Positive — El-Rufai

Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has said that he is still positive for the Coronavirus, COVID-19.

The governor made this known via his official twitter account after chairing the Kaduna State Executive Council meeting on Wednesday. He tweeted:

KADUNA UPDATE: Earlier Wednesday 10am-2pm, I took few hours during isolation to chair a virtual meeting of the State Executive Council.

I haven’t been cleared of Covid-19 yet & will personally announce when confirmed negative. Ignore all fake news even if you like it.-@elrufai pic.twitter.com/je3QW1oOHM

He also enjoined the public to ignore news making the rounds that he was now negative. He said he would personally announce his health status if confirmed negative.
