Nigeria has confirmed 490 new cases of  COVID-19 infections.

This was disclosed via the official twitter handle of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

Nigeria in total has 17,148 confirmed cases, 5,623 patients discharged and 455 deaths recorded. The curve is yet to flatten out as cases have been on the increase despite lockdown measures.
