The total number of recorded COVID-19 cases in Nigeria has risen to 17,735 as 587 new cases have been recorded.
The latest figures were disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its official twitter handle.

A breakdown of infections by states shows Lagos leading with 7,616 confirmed cases. Next are the FCT and Kano with 1,391 and 1,160 cases respectively.
