Riot has occurred in Rukpoku area of Port Harcourt following the alleged killing by a policeman of a keke driver identified by his nickname of Schoolboy .

Angry youths and colleagues of the Keke driver were said to have taken over the Airport Road to protest the incident, which happened at 7:00 am on Thursday.

Eyewitnesses said trouble started on Thursday morning when a policeman around Rukpoku asked the keke driver for a ₦100 bribe which the driver declined to.

The policeman was alleged to have fired a shot directly at the driver, killing him on the spot.
