Suspected bandits have invaded Baka village in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing  a man and his son.

The deceased man, Sanusi Musa and his son were said to have resisted attempts by the bandits to kidnap them after they stormed their compound.

The Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan  confirmed the incident.

Aruwan said the bandits invaded Baka village in the early hours of Saturday and attacked the residence of the victims, where they went on sporadic shooting .
