The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has announced Senator Kashim Shettima, as his running mate.

He announced this while addressing journalists in Katsina on Sunday.

According to Tinubu, Shettima was selected because the former Borno State governor is “competent, capable, reliable and able to be picked as a running mate”.

The APC presidential candidate was accompanied to Daura by Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State shortly after his aircraft landed at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Airport in the city of Katsina.
