President Bola Tinubu is set to travel to France on Monday, August 19, according to a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale. The president’s visit to France comes just days after returning from a three-day official visit to Equatorial Guinea.
While the reason for the visit to France has not been disclosed, Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria after a brief stay in the European country. During his recent trip to Equatorial Guinea, the Nigerian leader engaged in talks with President Teodoro Mbasogo and oversaw the signing of agreements focused on oil, gas, and security, alongside the Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar.
