Dr. Samuel Ojo is extensively experienced in teaching at different levels of education ranging from primary to tertiary institutions in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. His unbridled passion for academic excellence  has assisted him to seamlessly align with the mandate given to him by God to raise a generation of sound intellectuals who are deeply rooted in the fear of God.

That mandate was what inspired him to found Glybridge Schools in Lagos. At Glybridge, he dynamically blends the power of spiritual vitality and intellectual prowess to continuously mould destinies that would not only excel in academics but also stand out in character, innovation and social impact.

His business model for Glybridge Schools from inception was structured to undergo three (3) developmental stages namely: the Miniature, the Transitional and the Imago respectively. The Miniature phase was the experimental stage where lessons were learnt and rough edges sharpened. This gave him the opportunity to crystalize the blueprint of the bigger picture (the Imago phase) which has now been envisaged to be a world class institution of excellence.

The ultimate driving force behind his evolutionary business model is to arrive at the institution’s destination, where it can afford a 3-layer financial support system to enable low to average income families have access to premium education. The anticipated Glybridge Imago that is characterized by a blend of quality and cost effectiveness is driven by the Glybridge Executive Director’s quest to bridge the access gap to top quality education, between the rich, the average and the poor.

He is also the founder and president of Christian Intellectuals Foundation (CIF), a foundation that provides educational opportunities and mentorship programs to the Nigerian youth.

In 2025, he initiated an endowment investment strategy to help drastically reduce the frequent exodus of ‘Grade A Teachers’ from the education sector on account of poor remuneration, unconducive working environment and lack of due respect for the teaching profession as well as make teaching a competitive profession with respect to attract top talents globally.

Dr Samuel Ojo campaigns for a philanthropic intervention through strategic funding of visionary schools like Glybridge in order to encourage and attract brilliant minds that have sincere passion for teaching and be able to jettison incompetent people or people that are just wasting time in the teaching corridor while they scout for greener pastures.

Education and schools apart, Ojo is an  innovative thinker who has made novel contributions to the body of knowledge globally. For instance, he is credited with the innovative development of interpretive petrophysical models for field specific use in the oil and gas sector. In 2018, two of his models were internationally published in a high impact factor journal. He has however developed a number of other unpublished models for proprietary use, all of which have been experimentally validated.

Dr. Ojo is a seasoned professional that straddles between the industry and academia. His academic journey has spanned Nigeria and the United Kingdom, including postgraduate research at the University of Leeds, while his BSc. (Ed.), MSc. and Ph.D. were earned at the University of Lagos. As a cerebral educationist, he has obtained a number of academic awards and recognitions all the way from the High School to the University (e.g., OSRC Science Quiz Winner, High School Best Chemistry Student, Masters Class Best Graduating Student from the department of Physics, University of Lagos, Top 10% Doctorate Researcher at University of Lagos etc.).

Glybridge Schools, the institution he guides through strategic leadership emerged the best school in leadership and talent development in the West African Quality Education Awards 2025.

It is in recognition of his Sterling Accomplishments in the Development, Management and Delivery of Quality Education in Nigeria that Dr. Samuel Ojo is deemed worthy to be conferred with the Nigerian Achievement Award.
