Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have killed 16 terrorists in a coordinated ambush on a terrorist enclave in Boima, Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The Nigerian Army also said three soldiers were killed during simultaneous attacks on troops at 226 Battalion, Garkida, and 232 Battalion, Garaha, between September 30 and October 1, 2026.

Military Information Officer, North-East Joint Task Force, Capt. Mohammed Goni, said troops recovered three AK-47 rifles, two pump-action rifles, a Dane gun, six AK-47 magazines and ammunition from the Boima operation.

He added that an Air Component strike later hit about 16 terrorists gathered with 15 motorcycles in the area, while ground troops repelled attacks on the two military locations.
