Italy’s Interior Ministry is launching a remigration plan towards achieving its ultimate goal of a safer Italy.
Already, the country’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Matteo Salvini has almost completely ended illegal immigration via the sea by combating the illegal immigration business as well as human trafficking.
Also, the Italian government has budgeted the sum of 12 million euros to remigrate illegals coming from countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Ivory Coast and Nigeria. Half of the costs will however be covered by the European Union (EU).
With the recent security administrative order, the new plan will facilitate the work of Italy’s security forces in removing illegal migrants and deporting them to their respective countries of origin.
“A well organized lawful remigration programme is the only answer to the problems and instability caused by multiculturalism and irresponsible border laws allowing uncontrolled mass immigration from third-world countries,” Salvini said.
With this plan, Salvini has yet again affirmed why he continues to poll as the most popular politician in Italy’s history by keeping immigration promises he made during election campaign.
