Scores of armed policemen on Friday afternoon stormed the Maitama, Abuja residence of Senator Dino Melaye who represents Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
The invasion of Melaye’s residence which is located at 11 Sangha Street, off Mississippi, Maitama comes just days after the controversial lawmaker raised an alarm thet the Nigeria Police are plotting to kill him.
As at the time of filing this report, the street where the Senator’s house is located has been cordoned off by security operatives using Toyota Hilux operational vehicles.
The security operatives have however not been able to gain entrance into the one-storey building where the lawmaker is believed to be currently holed up.
