The Lagos State Government on Wednesday announced its plans to reintroduce the monthly environmental sanitation exercise in the state.
The plan was made known by the state’s Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Mr. Tunji Bello during a stakeholders’ meeting with Association of Commodity Market Women and Men led by the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Mrs. Folasade Tinubu-Ojo .
According to the commissioner, the invalidation of the exercise by a court sometime ago was a temporary setback which will be reversed very soon in order to improve the health and living conditions of all Lagos residents.
