Five new cases of the novel Coronavirus, COVID-19, have been confirmed in Nigeria.
This was disclosed via the official twitter handle of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

According to the NCDC, 2 of the cases are in Lagos State, 2 in the FCT and 1 in Edo State.
The NCDC also stated that 2 of the cases are returning travellers from the UK.
This brings the number of cases confirmed in Nigeria to 35. The breakdown shows that Lagos has 24 cases, FCT 6, Ogun 2, Ekiti 1, Oyo 1, and Edo 1.
