The Senator representing Lagos-East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Adebayo Osinowo, has died at the age of 64.

Osinowo popularly known as Pepperito, an All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmaker, was a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly for 16 years before his inauguration as a senator a year ago.

Until his death, he served as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Industry, and Investment.
