Nigeria has recorded 290 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 46,867.

The latest figures were disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its official twitter handle.

At least 20,002,577 cases and 733,842 deaths have now been reported globally. The United States is the world’s worst affected country with 5,075,678 cases and 163,282 deaths
