Mr Akinwumi Adesina has been re-elected as President of the Africa Development Bank by its Board of Governors.
Presidential Aide on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie confirmed the news in a congratulatory tweet on Thursday.

Adesina’s re-election bid was haunted by controversies after he was alleged to have been involved in violation of the ethics of the bank. He was however cleared of all the allegations against him.
