The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 97 new cases of COVID-19 in the country. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 57,145.
The NCDC also said that 48,569 patients have now been discharged, with 1,098 deaths recorded.
Of the new cases, 46 were recorded in Lagos, 12 were recorded in Kwara, 11 in Rivers, four in Adamawa, Niger, Ogun and Osun, three in Ekiti, Imo and Kaduna, two in Plateau and one in the FCT.
