The 63 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Asaba, is hosting promotional examination for over 200 officers of the Force.
The examination, slated for between February 8 and 12, 2021, is for officers from the rank of Lieutenant to Captain.
This much was made known on Monday by the General Officer Commanding,GOC, 6 Division, Major Gen. Ibrahim Jallo, in Asaba, Delta State. He added that plans have been perfected to ensure the comfort of the participating officers, including arrangement for an escort to and from the examination venue.
Represented by the Commander, 63 Brigade, Brg., Gen. Abdulrahman Idris, the GOC praised the Lieutenants, urging them to be of good behavior throughout the examination.
Subsequently, residents of Asaba and environs have been urged not to panic due to the presence of sizable number of personnel in the area. This was the message from the Examination President, Major Gen. Benson Akinroluyo, who also commended the the Asaba residents for their hospitality. .
On the reason for the examination, he said; ”The main, the main is to test them on the deployment and employment of at least a mechanised company, their tactics and deployment and administration of men, at leads up to a company level”.
