A 27-year old Okonkwo Nzubechukwu of Nigeria Maritime Academy, Oron, Akwa Ibom State, who proudly identified himself as a member of the Supreme Vikings Confraternity, has been arrested by operatives of the Force Intelligence Response Team, headed by a Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.
The suspect has narrated how he beheaded his rival in Aba, Abia State and then calmly video-recorded and circulated the incident on social media until it went viral.
Nzubechukwu was arrested alongside Prince Kalu, who allegedly is also a member of his cult group.
His arrest came after an eight-man gang of robbers, which specialised in robbing and killing of Point of Sales (POS) operators in the state, was arrested.
During interrogation, they disclosed that Nzubechukwu was their member and beheaded a rival group member, Igwilo, after which he cut off his legs, arms and genitals.
These parts, they said, were then taken to a native doctor, who promised to prepare charms to protect Nzubechukwu and his members from police arrest and rival groups.
