The Nigerian Senate will proceed on a-19-day Easter break beginning from Thursday, March25.
This was disclosed by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, at the end of plenary on Wednesday.
He said that standing committees of the Senate will continue to carry out their legislative assignments during the break, which will last till Tuesday April 13, 2021.
