The Independent National Electorarl Commission, INEC has just made a change in the date of the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo State.
The Commission which has decided to shift the election date to September, 28, 2016, arrived at its decision after a security meeting which held today at the state’s capital, Benin City.
This postponement comes a day after the police and State Security Service announced their intention to boycott the exercise, citing security concerns.
