The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of candidates who sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Friday and Saturday.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the board said the release forms part of its ongoing batch-by-batch process, as marking and verification of scripts continue across the country. Candidates who participated in the examinations on the affected days can now access their results.
JAMB explained that the staggered release of results is necessary to ensure thorough scrutiny and maintain the integrity of the examination process. It added that some results may be withheld where cases of malpractice or irregularities are suspected, pending further investigation.
The board advised candidates to check their results through its approved channels, particularly via the SMS method using the phone numbers linked to their registration.
The UTME remains a key requirement for admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria, with thousands of candidates sitting for the examination annually in pursuit of placement into universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
