President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sworn in Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF).

Enitan succeeds Didi Esther Walson-Jack, who retired after attaining the mandatory retirement age of 60. His swearing-in ceremony was held at the State House, Abuja, on Thursday.

Tinubu congratulated Enitan and charged him to uphold professionalism, integrity, accountability and efficiency in the Civil Service.

Enitan, 59, from Osun State, holds degrees in Banking and Finance from the University of Lagos and Public Policy Analysis from Nasarawa State University. He joined the Federal Civil Service in 1998 and was appointed Permanent Secretary in 2018, serving in several ministries before his appointment as Head of Service.
