The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has said he has returned fully and will be bringing ‘hell’ with him.
In his first public broadcast, Kanu, who disappeared for months after the Nigerian military launched the ‘Operation Python Dance’ in the South-East region of the country revealed some of his plans.
“I have returned full-time and I am coming home and I will bring hell with me. We will not relent till referendum is conducted. We stand for the truth. It’s referendum or nothing else,” Kanu said in the broadcast
The leader of the group also thanked the German and United States governments for not recognizing IPOB as a terrorist group while he condemned the Nigerian government for making the call.
“They are doing all they can to hold us down but we are still here. They fabricate falsehood. IPOB is very special. The largest black movement in the world,” he added.
