Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped the traditional ruler of Long Dorok Chiefdom in Shendam Local Government Area of Plateau State, David Isa.

Confirming the monarch’s abduction to newsmen on Tuesday, a former councilor from Dorok community, Mr. Leo Densak said the abduction of the second class monarch was carried out by armed gunmen numbering about ten.

Densak said that the gunmen stormed the monarch’s residence on Monday night at about 8 pm and whisked him away to an unknown destination after shooting sporadically to scare villagers away.
