The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has adjourned hearing in the case of false assets declaration filed against the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen indefinitely.
Announcing the indefinite suspension on Monday morning, the CCT Chairman, Danladi Umar said it was in obedience of the interim order granted by the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
Recall that the appellate court had on Thursday last week ordered the tribunal to stay proceedings on the matter pending a ruling on an application filed by Onnoghen.
